Steven P. Kahn, M.D. DrKahn

Dr. Steven P. Kahn was born in New York City and graduated from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He returned to New York City and graduated from New York Medical College in 1967. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was here in Michigan that Dr. Kahn developed his specialty interest in vascular and head & neck surgery. After completing his year as chief resident in 1973, Dr. Kahn served two years as a surgeon in the US Army Medical Corps.

His surgical practice in the Princeton area began in 1975. His practice grew rapidly and he has consistently maintained one of the busiest general surgical practices in the Princeton area. Dr. Kahn is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He belongs to the International Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, the Vascular Society of New Jersey, and the Eastern Vascular Society. He is also a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Fred Coller Surgical Society, as well as the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons. Dr. Kahn is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Kahn enjoys general surgery and has particular interest in vascular, oncologic, thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
